This is my dad with the little Chihuaha named "Grace". She has decided exactly where she would like to sit with her Christmas Santa Helper outfit and my dad just doesn't seem to mind at all!!!

We were enjoying a wonderful christmas eve dinner at Mac's parents in Lake Norman, NC

 

 

Admiral's Quarter is a condo community with views of Lake Norman, located in Cornelius, NC.

Admiral's Quarter's boasts a boat storage facility, walking distance to lake norman, a really active pool, a modern and open layout (inside), tennis courts, easy access to lake norman, and close proximity to shopping! Some of the  best restaurants within a one mile radius include: Brooklyn Boys Pizzaria, Atami, and K&W Cafeteria.

Wind is whipping and it's an icy cold 34 degrees in December of 2008! We are getting ready for Christmas Eve and I snapped a shot of the lake at the house because the water looked so blue and dark!!!

Panthers Football TONIGHT!! December 21, 2008 at 8:15pm EST

Carolina Panthers are playing the New York Giants
Both are 11-3 and playing in NY

This is perhaps NFC's Biggest Game of the Season! The Panthers are in the playoffs after Dallas's loss last Saturday.
Is it going to snow in NY? Panthers aren't worried about a little wintry mix! GO PANTHERS!!!

Top 10 Ways I am going to Save Money in 2009

1. Limit my Starbucks consumption to 1 drink per week. Savings = $25 per week!
2. Try to limit my grocery and errand running to once per week to save gas. Savings = $30 (one tank of gas) per month!
3. Get my Oil Change at Wal-mart. Savings = $60 (4 oil changes per year) I can also do my shopping while I wait.
4. Buy clothes ONLY on Sale. Savings = $???
5. Limit Birthday, Anniversary, and Closing Gifts to $25 or less. Savings = $400+ per year!
6. Use Free Contact Management Software (like Outlook) instead of Top Producer. Savings = $34.99 per month!
7. Wash & Clip my own dog instead of taking her to the groomers. Savings = $50 every month!
8. Only eat out about 2 times a month for dinner. Savings = $100 per month. It will make it more fun to plan for just the 2 times anyway. Make it special!
9. Use Dryel for my clothes instead of taking them to the dry cleaners and ironing them myself. Savings = $65 per month!
10. Use the Brita Water Pitcher for water instead of buying tons of water bottles. Savings = $20 per month (4 cases)

I will save over $450 each month!

I cannot believe how warm it is in Lake Norman the last 2 days! We have hit record highs. It's in the 50s right now!

Yesterday it was 68 degrees and some areas reported 70+ degrees! Definitely NO snow here.

Some places in South Carolina reported 80 degrees??

Well, that's a Carolina Christmas for ya!
