The Bridge Run 10K (6.2 miles) is going to take place on April 4th, 2009 in Charleston, SC. It is a run that goes over the Arthur J. Ravenel Bridge over the Cooper River and has been run for 32 years. The bridge is 2.5 miles long and took under 700 million dollars to complete and has amazing views!

My girlfriends and I get a hotel room on Mount Pleasant (about 1.5 miles from the start line) and we complete it every year as a group! Planning the trip is equally enjoyable. I love to visit my favorite restaurants like Hank's and Magnolias, while I am in Charleston.

New Timing Chip For Your Shoes
The Bridge Run will be using a new timing system for the 2009 race. The ChronoTrack D-Tags are a new disposable tag with many benefits, including; accurate time tracking, no fees for lost or unreturned tag, less hassle post race, lighter, less intrusive tag, easier to attach to shoe, no pre-race check in and no post race tag turn in.The tag comes attached to your bib number and must be attached to your shoe before the race.
