Register Now For the Jetton Park Triathlon in Lake Norman!
The Jetton Park Triathlon is a Sprint Triathlon that will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Jetton Park in Cornelius, NC 28031
It's a fun race consisting of a 750 meter swim, a 20k bike course, and a 5K run. Race starts a 8am!
The course at Jetton Park is a lovely scenery through trees and past the shores of Lake Norman and Peninsula Yacht Club. It will be safely marked course that can be finished by a veteran or beginner triathlete. I've run the 15K here several years and the course is a little hilly but very beautiful and scenic.
I have read that there will be music, raffles, food, and more at the race!
Proceeds will go to the charities: "Ace & TJ's Grin Kids" www.grinkids.org and "Hope House Foundation" www.hopehousefoundation.org
