- Buy and Set a digital thermostat on your a/c. Programmable ones are the best
- Change your light bulbs to high efficiency
- Change your shower head to use less water (or turn it off while lathering)
- Reuse and wash your water bottles (save the landfills)
- Ride your bike to work like my brother-in-law, or car pool. If you live in Lake Norman and work in Uptown, Take the Bus!
- Don't use gift wrap, just use old paper grocery bags
- Use recyclable grocery bags
- Use Cloth Diapers
- Get a water filter system for your sink
- Don't use paper towels so much, ditch them and use dish towels
- Buy local produce
- Use Vinegar and Citrus (natural cleaners), homemade cleaners
- Use reusable plastic cleaner bottles
