Wordless Wednesday ~ Cows on Lake Norman!

Cows getting shade on lake norman

North end of Lake Norman near the dam. Cows taking advantage of the shade trees, and sipping some Catawba River water! There were at least 20 by the water and they were tagged so they must belong to a farmer. I am guessing this is somewhere in Statesville. The Bull is located on the right side of the picture and was HUGE!

I didn't even see the black ones at first glance, I thought they were part of the trees.  Then I started looking for the bull.

Sandy,

I first looked "on" the water, but this is a fine picture of exactly what you say - just not what we might expect. :)
