Do You Notice Something Funny in the Picture?

A group of jet skiers (about 14) decided to ride from the south dam to the north dam on Lake Norman. Once we made it up the Catawba River to the north dam, we were able to get out and stand on the rocky bottom, but the current was really strong and was pushing us back south. We decided to make this a pit stop and relax and take pictures. It was really cool seeing the cows and bull (earlier post) on the side of the lake, drinking some water.

It's very rural up in these parts. MAP: Somwhere on the map in Catawba county near the dam to Lake Lookout Shoals.

ha! Craig - That is so hilarious!! Yes, that is a wine glass in my hand and the wine is supposedly sloshing out of the cup. I am the director of the Lake Norman Wine enthusiast club with over 700 members and so wine is often in my hand!!
