According to Foxnews.com, a 26 year old Huntersville man just had his stomach removed in early March in a Boston hospital.

The man was having it removed because he has a history of stomach cancer in his family and had seen some relatives die of the disease, a very painful death.

What is SO wild is that I just watched my favorite show, "Gray's Anatomy" and the show had 3 siblings going in for the same surgery and with a very similar story line! Only 2 of the siblings got the surgery and the show was really good and drama-filled! So, I wonder if this Huntersville man knows he has a show written about his surgery?
I'm sure some people will argue which came first the chicken or the egg? But after reading the article about the Huntersville, NC man, it's just too close!

I have never watched Gray's Anatomy but hear it is a good show. I watch House, love it. but..
I won't even begin to tell you what I think about the surgery....
Sherry, I love watching House too! There are several articles around about this Huntersville man and he had like a 50% chance of getting the cancer so he did this as a preventative measure!
Sandy-I've heard some extreme surgeries, but this one is rather crazy. I'm surprised that doctors agreed to remove his stomach. But then again, if one watched a loved one die a very painful death, it may not seem so extreme or crazy to take it out.
I love that show how cool to know it is realistic. thanks for the post
Lydia, Yes, it does put someone in a real hard decision making time, doesn't it?
Vanessa, Yes, sometimes shows are my only vice when I am not busy with real estate!
Sandy, how in the world did I miss this for it is very odd indeed, that is wild.

Roy, thanks so much for my feature! I can't believe it! That's also a very cool animation gif. Love it.
Sandy ~ Love Grey's Anatomy! Watching a great show at the end of a busy day is one of the best ways to unwind! I wonder how many stories are real and how many are made up?
